The history of Rubinetterie Treemme begins in 1968 in Asciano, in the province of Siena. Initially it was called “Rubinetterie Toscane 3M”, by the three founding partners (Renato Michelangioli, Armando Medina and Guido Mencarelli), whose surnames had the same initial, the M.
The new Tuscan reality immediately focuses on the production of taps. The entire production cycle that leads to the creation of the tap is completed inside the artisan workshop : foundry, galvanic, polishing, painting and assembly. Thanks to the excellent organization that distinguishes the work flow right from the start, the company grows quickly and customers soon recognize and appreciate the meticulous attention paid to quality and customer service.
1980 saw the start of that path that would lead the company to be identified as an interior design brand. Rubinetterie Treemme launches the fashion of color by creating the “Arcobaleno” collection, with knobs of various colors. At the end of the 1980s, when growth outside the national market was stable, the company name changed to Rubinetterie 3M, to then be further changed to today ‘s Rubinetterie Treemme.
